Terms of Service

Welcome to ScoreSheet. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the ScoreSheet website and the digital products sold through it (together, the "Service"). By accessing the website or purchasing a product, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

ScoreSheet is operated as an independent study-resource publisher based in Ireland. In these Terms, "we," "us," and "our" refer to ScoreSheet. "You" refers to the person accessing the Service or purchasing a product.

2. Not affiliated with the College Board

ScoreSheet is an independent product. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the College Board. "SAT" is a registered trademark of the College Board. References to the SAT on this website are for descriptive purposes only — our practice materials are written in the style and format of the current SAT to help you prepare.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are under the age of 18 (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction), you must have the permission of a parent or legal guardian to make a purchase.

4. Our product

When you complete a purchase, you receive a license to download and use a PDF file (the "Pack") containing SAT-format practice questions and explanations. The Pack is delivered digitally and is intended for your personal, non-commercial study use.

4.1 License granted

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide, perpetual license to download, print, and use the Pack for your own SAT preparation. You may:

• Download the PDF to your personal devices;
• Print one or more copies for your own study use;
• Annotate, highlight, and write on printed copies.

4.2 Restrictions

You may not:

• Resell, redistribute, or publicly share the Pack or any portion of it;
• Upload the Pack to file-sharing sites, torrents, or public repositories;
• Use the Pack for commercial tutoring, classroom instruction, or paid coaching without a separate written license from us;
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or attribution notices;
• Use automated tools to scrape, copy, or republish the content.

5. Purchases and payment

All purchases are processed securely by Stripe. We do not see, store, or handle your payment card details. By completing a purchase, you authorise Stripe to charge the payment method you provide for the amount shown at checkout, in U.S. dollars.

Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars and do not include any taxes that may apply in your jurisdiction. Any applicable taxes are your responsibility unless displayed at checkout.

6. Delivery

Upon successful payment, you will receive a confirmation email from our payment provider with your receipt and instructions for receiving your PDF. The PDF is delivered manually through our Discord community: after purchase, you open a delivery ticket in the same Discord server you came from, and we send you the file directly. We aim to fulfil delivery tickets within 24 hours on weekdays. If you do not receive your receipt email or have any difficulty with delivery, please contact us via our contact page.

7. Updates

Your purchase includes access to future updates of the Pack at no additional cost. Updates may include new questions, revised passages, typo corrections, or formatting improvements. We do not guarantee a specific update schedule and are under no obligation to release updates by any particular date.

8. Refunds

Our refund policy is set out in full on the Refund Policy page and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Intellectual property

All content in the Pack, on this website, and in related materials — including text, graphics, layout, and question sets — is owned by ScoreSheet or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. Your license (section 4.1) does not transfer ownership of any content to you.

10. User conduct

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use of the Service by, any third party.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service and the Pack are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Pack will improve your SAT score, that any specific outcome will result from using it, or that the content is free from errors. SAT scoring is determined solely by the College Board.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall ScoreSheet, its owners, or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ScoreSheet from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you breach these Terms, including by redistributing the Pack. On termination, the license granted in section 4.1 ends immediately, and you must destroy any copies of the Pack in your possession.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by updating this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ireland, unless your consumer rights under the law of your country of residence provide otherwise.
